25 February 2021 – Bethany defended her PhD thesis. Congratulations!
Her work on coherence control of radio-frequency dressed states is now written up and endorsed. Congratulations, Dr Bethany!
5 June 2019 – Project SIDIS has started
The project “SIDIS – Sagnac Interferometry with Dressed Internal States” uses state-dependent transport of trapped atoms to build a rotation sensor that is operated akin to an atomic clock. During Phase I of the DARPA funded A-Phi Programme, we will test the basic working principle.
The first atom chip is being bonded…
15 March 2019 – Fabio defended his PhD thesis. Congratulations!
