The project “SIDIS – Sagnac Interferometry with Dressed Internal States” uses state-dependent transport of trapped atoms to build a rotation sensor that is operated akin to an atomic clock. During Phase I of the DARPA funded A-Phi Programme, we will test the basic working principle.
